Three quick
answers.

01

What is padel?

Half tennis, half squash, played in doubles on a glass-walled court. Born in an Acapulco backyard in 1969. The fastest-growing racket sport in the world. Now exploding across the U.S.

Two women playing padel on an outdoor court — one defending at the baseline, one leaping for an overhead smash.
02

Is it like pickleball?

No. In padel, the walls are part of the game — you play with them. The ball is like a tennis ball, but softer, and it's doubles only. If you play pickleball, you'll feel at home right away.

03

Is it hard to learn?

Easy to pick up, deep to master. The serve is underhand, the rules are simple, and the walls keep more balls in play. Most people fall in love on day one — 92% come back after their first session.
